This game is a 15 minute vignette based on the full length game, Call Me Cera: a visual novel about adult friendships, setting healthy boundaries, anxiety, and trying to navigate life in a world that feels like it doesn’t understand you.

Call Me Cera's vignettes are unique snack sized chapters that let the Player spend some extra time in Fernweh with their favorite characters! They are typically an hour long, unless otherwise stated, and feature the NPCs of the full length game.

The healthier Cera's choices, the more the story unfolds.

Hey! Just a bit of feedback: I had a little trouble differentiating who's speaking since you're not using the usual trope of showing the speaker. Maybe you can move the location of the name label to show the two parties?

Hello! Thanks for the feedback. We’re working on adding a sound indicator, as well as a better visual indicator, to clarify who is speaking. I’ll be patching that in when we publish our next vignette, so please look forward to it. Thank you for playing and for your comment! Cheers, Alanna

What are you planning to use to differentiate speakers?

We uploaded a patch today that addressed this issue. Basically, the color of the namebox changes according to the speaking character. We’d like to add an audio cue as well, in future updates. Cheers!

First of all, awesome. Art is fantastic and music is nice. I love the way the therapist handles the interaction, very positive! Only minor thing that bugged me is the blue text to highlight important statement, might be a bit hard to read. Though I'm only pointing that out cause everything else was perfect, keep up the good work.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback! We did that for accessibility reasons so if it makes it hard to read, we failed and need to fix it! Our intentions were quite the opposite. Please accept my apologies and we’ll patch this asap. Cheers, Alanna

Hey, Alanna. It's no problem, thanks for being receptive. Looking forward to the game!

Thank you so much! We’re delighted you enjoyed it and can’t wait for you to play more of our upcoming vignettes and, of course, the full game Call Me Cera when it comes out. Cheers!
